The Kenya Accountants and Secretaries National Examinations Board (KASNEB) has officially released the examination schedule for August 2025, with a comprehensive range of professional, diploma, and certificate programmes lined up for assessment.
According to a public notice issued on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, the examinations will be conducted over a four-day period from Monday, August 18 to Thursday, August 21, 2025. The schedule will cater to students across various qualifications, including the Certificate in Accounting and Management Skills (CAMS), Accounting Technicians Diploma (ATD), and the Diploma in Quality Management (DQM).
Professional qualifications such as the Certified Public Accountants (CPA), Certified Secretaries (CS), Certified Investment and Financial Analysts (CIFA), Certified Credit Professionals (CCP), and the Certified Information Systems Solutions Expert (CISSE) are also included. Other certifications to be examined are the Certified Forensic Fraud Examiner (CFFE), Certified Public Finance Manager (CPFM), Certified Procurement and Supply Professional of Kenya (CPSP-K), and Associate in Procurement and Supply of Kenya (APS-K).
Vocational certificate courses such as VCEI, VCGD, VCICSS, and VCBCT will also be examined. In addition, emerging skills in Business Data Analytics and Financial Modelling are part of the CPA and CIFA practical assessments, scheduled for August 18.
The Diploma in Data Management and Analytics (DDMA) and Diploma in Computer Networks and System Administration (DCNSA) will be administered over the full examination period from August 18 to 21.
Examinations for candidates pursuing Foreign Accountancy Qualifications (FAQ) will be conducted on Tuesday, August 19 and Thursday, August 21.
To sit for the August exams, candidates must complete their registration and examination entry by Friday, July 18, 2025. Additionally, all continuing students are reminded to renew their annual registration by July 1 to qualify.
The KASNEB qualification brochure is available on the official website (www.kasneb.or.ke), the Kenya National Library Service branches nationwide, and at training institutions offering KASNEB-accredited courses. Students are urged to begin early preparations, including obtaining permissions from employers where necessary, to ensure a smooth examination experience.
