The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has officially released the placement results for the Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) September 2025 intake. Applicants are now urged to confirm their placement status by logging into the KUCCPS Student Portal at students.kuccps.net.
To access their results, students must log in using their KCSE index number, year of examination, and a password typically their KCPE index number or birth certificate number. Once logged in, applicants can view the institution and programme to which they have been successfully placed.
In addition to releasing the results, KUCCPS has also opened a window for inter-institutional transfers for students who wish to switch to a different KMTC campus or programme. The deadline for submitting transfer requests is August 24, 2025. Applicants are encouraged to act promptly and follow the steps outlined on the portal to complete the transfer process.
This announcement follows a successful application period that began on June 23 and closed on July 7, 2025. During this window, students applied for preservice certificate and diploma courses offered across 26 KMTC programmes. Those interested in higher diploma, upgrading, or short courses were advised to use the KMTC portal directly at admissions.kmtc.ac.ke.
Students who have been placed in KMTC programmes are expected to follow the instructions provided on the KUCCPS portal to prepare for their admission. These include downloading admission letters, checking reporting dates, and ensuring all documentation is in order.
Meanwhile, the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB) had earlier opened its loan application portal to support KMTC students with tuition and other related costs. This financial aid initiative is open to both new and continuing students.
KUCCPS and HELB continue to work closely with KMTC to ensure that aspiring healthcare professionals receive both academic placement and the financial support they need to pursue their training. Students are advised to stay updated by visiting official websites for the latest information.
