The United States Embassy in Nairobi has announced the launch of the 2025 EducationUSA University Fair, a forum designed to connect Kenyan students with accredited U.S. universities and colleges. The event is scheduled to take place on September 13, 2025, at the Serena Hotel from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
According to the Embassy, the fair will host representatives from over 30 U.S. universities, giving students a unique chance to explore study opportunities, learn about available scholarships, and gain valuable admissions guidance directly from university officials.
“Have you secured your slot at the 2025 EducationUSA University Fair? Meet representatives from 30+ U.S. universities, explore study options and scholarships, and get admission tips,” the Embassy announced in a statement released on Friday, August 29.
The EducationUSA initiative promotes higher education globally by providing students with accurate, comprehensive, and up-to-date information on studying in the United States. This year’s fair will target prospective learners at various academic levels including Associate, Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD programs.
During registration, participants are required to provide basic personal information such as their name, gender, date of birth, email, and phone number. They must also indicate their hometown, preferred level of study, program of interest, and intended year of enrollment.
The Embassy emphasized that the fair aims to help students understand the full spectrum of higher education opportunities available in the U.S. both with and without scholarship support. Students are encouraged to attend with curiosity, actively engage with representatives, and maintain a respectful environment for fellow participants and officials.
By connecting Kenyan students to top U.S. institutions, the fair provides a gateway to world-class education and international exposure. For many learners, it represents a chance to secure rare opportunities that could shape their academic and professional futures.
Registration for the fair is already open, and interested students are urged to secure their slots early to take advantage of this once-a-year platform.
