Kenyan radio presenter and YouTuber Alex Mwakideu has opened up about the emotional impact of losing his elder sister, Caroline Wanjala, when he was just 15 years old. The revelation underscores the lasting effect her death has had on him and his family.

“It pains me to say that when I was 15, I lost my sister, Caroline Wanjala Mwakideu. She was found dead at her home, and we still don’t know what caused her death,”

A postmortem suggested signs of strangulation, but the family opted not to pursue the matter further, choosing instead to close that chapter in light of the emotional trauma. “They said that after the postmortem, either she was strangled. I don’t want to speculate, but we decided to leave the case as a family since it hurt us so much. She was my sister,” he explained.
