Burundian socialite Dabijou has come forward with explosive claims against Kenyan businessman Jamal Rohosafi, alleging that he misled her and her family with false promises of marriage and a stable future together. The two were previously rumored to be romantically involved after intimate videos of them surfaced online, fueling speculation about the seriousness of their relationship. However, Dabijou has now taken to social media to set the record straight, revealing what she describes as betrayal and emotional manipulation.
According to Dabijou, she traveled to Kenya to be with Jamal after he initiated contact with her family and assured them of his intentions to marry her. She claimed that he personally reached out to her parents, giving them his word that he would take care of her and treat her like a queen. “My family called him because he had already called them and said he was coming to marry their daughter,” she said emotionally during a live video session. “He told them, ‘Don’t worry about anything, she will be fine. I’ll treat her like a queen.’”
However, Dabijou now says Jamal did the opposite. She alleged that once in Kenya, she was left without food, care, or emotional support. She accused him of mistreating her and attempting to control her by forbidding her from following any of his exes on social media. Things became even more strained when, according to her, he refused to help with her travel back home. “If you wanted me to go out, where was the ticket?” she asked in frustration. “I never asked you for anything. But he told me to take a bus to go back to Rwanda.”
Dabijou claims that Jamal told her countless stories and made manipulative efforts to get her to leave the house she was staying in.
