Kenyan TikTok content creator Cecilia Achieng, aged 23, tragically lost her life in a road accident on Friday night near the Ruiru flyover. The recent university graduate’s promising life ended just an hour after exiting an online cab, shocking friends, fans, and the online community.
Details of the Incident
The ride had been arranged by a client named Ronald to transport Cecilia and her friend Sally to Juja. The taxi driver, Patrick, noted that both women appeared intoxicated upon arrival, prompting safety concerns. Due to their unsteady state, Patrick requested upfront payment, which initially failed via M-Pesa. Ronald confirmed the booking and completed the payment before the journey began.
During the trip, Cecilia reportedly behaved erratically, causing the driver to stop near the Ruiru flyover and call Ronald for guidance. Despite the driver’s concerns, Ronald reportedly advised that Cecilia, as an adult, could make her own decisions. The driver subsequently ended the trip and left the area.
