Kenyan media personality Daddie Marto has issued a heartfelt public apology, opening up about personal struggles, relationship challenges, and a renewed commitment to protecting his family from what he describes as “spiritual and external attacks.”
In a candid Instagram Story, Marto admitted to taking down some of his past posts, saying he had been driven by anger and frustration. “I have had time to sit with myself, sit with the counsel of friends, colleagues, family and elders. I will stop. I was angry, frustrated and I broke. I am human. We have our limits. I am sorry for the ugliness,” he wrote.
Although he removed several posts, Marto revealed that he chose to restore some on the Diviner, explaining his motivation: “It is now my mission to remove him from the hearts and souls of our women and children because no man can fall for his nonsense.”
The father of two acknowledged personal shortcomings in his role as the spiritual leader of his home. “I failed my family. Me. I failed them. I did not cover them with enough prayers. That is on me!! Oh Lord!!” he confessed, adding that he had once dismissed the mother of his children’s concerns as spiteful. “Now I see she was being honest. Here I failed as a man. This is my biggest regret.”
Speaking directly to men, Marto urged them to safeguard their homes on all fronts physically, financially, mentally, physiologically, and spiritually. “Even as you fight for your position in the home, fight against the demons! Internal and external fights!!” he said.

While admitting the possibility that his relationship with his children’s mother may be beyond repair, Marto stressed the importance of co-parenting. “It might be too late for me and the mother of my children as a couple, but it is not too late for us as parents to those boys who need both mum and dad.”
He ended his message on a note of faith: “This might be the one and only reason why this happened publicly. To show how our God is an awesome God!”
