Feeling optimistic and filled with affection, he used KSh 150 of his earnings to purchase a bracelet for Joy, hoping it would be a meaningful gift that would express his love. During the crossover service at Winners Chapel, Joy ended their relationship. In a heart-wrenching moment, she told him, “You are a nice guy, but I don’t have the patience to see this comedy grow.” Ofweneke shared how devastating this rejection was for him, especially after the effort he put into buying her the bracelet. He recalled retreating to the church washroom, where he broke down in tears, feeling utterly heartbroken.
