Pop sensation Dua Lipa is taking her brand beyond music, stepping into the booming wellness industry with plans to launch fitness and lifestyle products under her own name. According to The Sun’s Bizarre column, the 29-year-old singer filed trademark documents earlier this year, seeking rights to use “Dua Lipa” on workout supplements, including protein powders and vitamins. She is currently awaiting approval for the trademark request.
The move aligns with Lipa’s well-known commitment to health and fitness, which she has openly discussed in interviews. Speaking to Nick Grimshaw and Angela Hartnett on the Dish from Waitrose podcast, the Grammy-winning artist revealed how rigorous her routine becomes in preparation for touring.
“I guess once I’m in the swing of things and I have a routine and my body is really strong and healthy, it’s just getting into stamina mode,” she explained. “There’s no drinking, no hot sauce, just rehearsals, workouts, and preparing for all the shows to come.”
For Lipa, touring is as much a physical challenge as it is a musical one. She focuses on running, dancing, and singing simultaneously during rehearsals to ensure she can perform at her peak without compromising her vocal performance. “I’ve got to make sure that while we’re doing new dance moves, a certain move isn’t going to make my voice shake,” she said.
Her fitness philosophy goes beyond repetition variety is key. In a past interview with Marie Claire, Lipa shared that she enjoys mixing up her workouts depending on where she is in the world. “When I have a tiny bit more time on my side, I love mixing up lots of different training, finding different workouts in whatever city I’m in, whether it’s yoga, Pilates, boxing, or spinning.”
By trademarking her name for supplements and lifestyle products, Dua Lipa could soon translate her disciplined health habits into a brand her fans can buy into. With her global influence, the venture has the potential to resonate with both her music audience and the ever-growing fitness community.
If approved, her move would mark another high-profile celebrity entering the wellness space joining the likes of Gwyneth Paltrow, Rihanna, and Jennifer Lopez in turning personal lifestyle choices into thriving business empires.
