A resurfaced video of renowned Tanzanian actress Kajala Frida has stirred conversations online, as she candidly opens up about a distressing incident involving her ex-boyfriend, Bongo Flava star Harmonize. In the emotional clip, Kajala revealed that Harmonize once sent inappropriate photos to her daughter, Paula Kajala.
“He sent those photos to my daughter. That really broke me,” Kajala confessed, her voice reflecting the lingering pain from the betrayal.
Despite the passage of time since their breakup, Kajala admitted that the incident still haunts her. Speaking in a previous interview on Mambo Mseto, she shared that Harmonize gradually lost respect for their relationship, attributing his actions to immaturity and complacency.
“Ni mazoea mtu akishakuzoea sana, anakuchukulia poa. Simlaumu, yeye ni kijana mdogo,” she remarked, implying that Harmonize’s youthful mindset might have led to his disregard for boundaries.
Interestingly, Harmonize had earlier claimed that it was Paula who flirted with him an allegation that only deepened the controversy surrounding their fallout.
In the same interview, Kajala touched on her earlier relationship with music producer P-Funk Majani, Paula’s father. She clarified that while they were never married, they were young when they had their daughter. Kajala attributed the collapse of that relationship to misunderstandings and a lack of maturity on both sides.

“At that time, I was still young. Even he still had childish minds,” she said.
Despite their separation, Kajala expressed gratitude for having raised Paula on her own. “I’m thankful he left Paula for me. We’re fine. We cooperate in education.”
Though Kajala and P-Funk Majani do not communicate regularly, she revealed that she has formed a strong friendship with his current wife.
“His wife is my partner. We talk a lot. We are really friends. She is good at telling stories and chatting,” Kajala shared, noting that she often speaks with her ex’s wife more than with him.
Kajala’s candid reflections provide a window into her resilience, as she navigates co-parenting, past heartbreak, and the challenges of public relationships.
