Kenyan forex trader and social media personality, popularly known as Kenyan Prince, has delivered a bold rebuttal to critics questioning the authenticity of his lavish lifestyle. Responding to persistent claims that he is faking wealth and living beyond his means, the outspoken TikToker addressed his detractors in a fiery Instagram video posted on Tuesday, June 24, 2025.
In his message, Kenyan Prince real name Raymond Omosa expressed his frustration with those who constantly accuse him of pretending to be a millionaire. He questioned why certain individuals are seemingly obsessed with discrediting his success, while he continues to demonstrate tangible signs of financial power.
To counter the allegations, Prince offered a glimpse of his luxury vehicles: a Mercedes-Benz C-Class convertible and a Mercedes-Benz GLE SUV, the latter adorned with a custom license plate reportedly worth Ksh1.5 million. With a mix of humor and bravado, he dared his critics to attempt the same level of “faking” and see if they could maintain it.
“This life that you all claim I am faking is not fake at all. Let’s all start faking and compete, then we’ll see who outdoes who,” he said, panning the camera to his vehicle’s number plate and emphasizing its cost. His message was clear if faking is as easy as some claim, others should try matching his supposed pretense.
He went on to defend the validity of his lifestyle, arguing that the kind of wealth he exhibits cannot be staged. “You can’t fake owning cars that cost millions. You need real money for that,” he said, challenging the idea that his luxurious image is a façade.
Prince even offered to engage in a so-called ‘fake life contest’ against his trolls, insisting that most would not last a day trying to replicate what he presents. “Zoom zoom let’s fake together and see who can sustain it. Don’t think pretending is as simple as it sounds,” he added with a flamboyant flair.
Just days before this online confrontation, the TikToker had declared during a livestream that his current net worth is approximately $2 million (around Ksh260 million), largely earned through forex trading. While celebrating his financial success, he was also candid about the risks involved, revealing that he has lost more than Ksh12 million during his journey.
He cautioned viewers not to assume forex trading is a guaranteed path to wealth, stressing that substantial capital is required to succeed at the highest levels. For him, the journey has been about big wins and big losses but ultimately, bigger gains.
