Moses Indiri, an emerging Luhya musician from Vihiga County, has recently released a song praising President William Ruto for his leadership and efforts since taking office. The song, titled Warara Luhya Song, is a vibrant tribute that not only honors President Ruto but also applauds the work of Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi and Cabinet Secretary Governor Hassan Joho, both of whom have deeply inspired Indiri.
In an interview, Indiri shared that his motivation behind the song was to give credit where it’s due. Despite only officially starting his music career in 2024, he has been passionate about music for many years. He explained that while he has long been a supporter of ODM leader Raila Odinga, he believes it’s important to acknowledge progress, regardless of political differences. Indiri expressed admiration for President Ruto’s inclusive government approach, especially the decision to bring in experts from the ODM party. He described this move as a bold and unifying step toward national progress.
Alongside his musical pursuits, Indiri has political ambitions of his own. He plans to run for the position of Member of County Assembly (MCA) for North East Bunyore Ward in the 2027 general election. He views music as a way to connect with people and leadership as a path to serve them. Indiri confidently stated that he sees himself as the right candidate to lead his community forward, following in the footsteps of President Ruto.
Indiri also expressed a strong desire to meet President Ruto in person, even if it is only to share a cup of tea or take a photograph. He regards Ruto as a role model and has pledged his support for the president’s re-election in 2027.
Supporting Indiri is his manager, Fredrick Odongo, who believes strongly in the young artist’s talent and message. Odongo said he is ready to invest in Indiri’s music career and help guide him through the entertainment industry. He described Indiri as genuine and rare, with great potential not only in music but also in politics as a future MCA for North East Bunyore.
As the 2027 general elections approach, Moses Indiri remains loyal to President Ruto and confident in his continued leadership. His new song serves as both a celebration of Ruto’s achievements and a call for unity and progress, reflecting his belief in the importance of giving recognition across political divides.
Meanwhile, a video surfaced showing Karen Nyamu singing and dancing to a popular song praising President Ruto. The clip captured Nyamu inside a car, enthusiastically celebrating the president and urging her supporters to vote for him, further demonstrating the growing support for Ruto in various communities.
