Comedian Mulamwah has taken a direct shot at fellow entertainer Oga Obinna, calling him out for always inserting himself into matters concerning other celebrities. The two have found themselves in the middle of an escalating online feud, each revealing their side of the story and fueling public curiosity over their falling out.
The drama began when Obinna explained why he didn’t attend Mulamwah’s recent comedy event. According to Obinna, he was blocked by Mulamwah on Instagram and never received an invitation. In response, Mulamwah dismissed those claims, saying the event was open to the public and anyone could buy a ticket to attend — invitation or not.
Adding fuel to the fire, Mulamwah posted a video reminding Obinna about a past incident where he and another personality mocked his son. He expressed disappointment that Obinna seemed to have forgotten the roots of their beef, while it remained fresh in his mind.
In a heated video, Mulamwah went on to slam Obinna’s tendency to offer unsolicited opinions on nearly every trending topic within the entertainment scene. He accused him of always wanting to be in the spotlight. “You always want to be the center of attention. Whether it’s a wedding or a show, you always want to insert yourself. Let other people have their moment,” he said.
When asked why Obinna wasn’t formally invited, Mulamwah doubled down, saying the event wasn’t private. If Obinna truly wanted to be there, all he had to do was buy a ticket like everyone else.
Mulamwah also revealed why he declined an interview on Obinna’s online show. He accused the former radio host of being judgmental and constantly belittling others. He challenged Obinna to create content without talking about other celebrities for just one week. “Try staying silent for a week without mentioning anyone. You’re not an artist — just a parasite feeding off what’s already happening,” Mulamwah added.
He emphasized that not every disagreement needs to be turned into content and claimed he has more dirt on Obinna but chooses to keep it private out of professionalism. According to him, true creatives should be able to stand out without riding on the names of others.
As the feud continued to play out online, fans and fellow entertainers didn’t shy away from sharing their opinions. Some supported Mulamwah’s stance, while others pointed out the futility of the online back-and-forth. One person joked about Obinna’s loud personality, questioning if he could really keep quiet for a week. Others applauded Mulamwah for standing his ground and reminding people that public events don’t always require personal invitations.
Meanwhile, on a lighter note, Mulamwah has stirred more chatter by showing off a woman believed to be his new romantic interest. After parting ways with Ruth K, he hinted at moving on, sharing a picture of the woman from behind in his apartment and captioning it with “to new life.”
While it remains to be seen whether the war of words will escalate further or fizzle out, it’s clear that both comedians are not holding back when it comes to defending their reputations and airing their grievances in public.
