Comedian Mulamwah has once again stirred controversy online, this time by leveling serious accusations against his ex-partner and mother of his child, Ruth K. In a fiery online message, the comedian vented about the bitter fallout between them, painting Ruth as the architect of their relationship’s downfall.
Mulamwah claimed that Ruth was heavily influenced by her friends, whom he described as envious of the lifestyle he had provided for her. According to him, their constant interference and advice drove a wedge between them, ultimately leading Ruth to move out and settle in Ruaka. He alleged that instead of trying to resolve things, she listened to outsiders who didn’t have her best interests at heart.
One of the most shocking claims he made was that Ruth created a WhatsApp group with 84 women, where she allegedly spread false information about him being HIV positive. He went on to say that some of the women in the group were sponsors of his comedy projects, and as a result of the accusations, they withdrew their support. According to him, this smear campaign hurt his brand and his shows.
“You picked a fight and walked out. But how do you add 84 women to a group and claim I’m HIV positive?” he asked. “Some of them were clients and pulled their sponsorships. Just because I talk to a lady doesn’t mean I’m in a relationship with her.”
He also accused Ruth of trying to win him back and said he had declined her attempts to rekindle their relationship. Mulamwah insisted that her bitterness stemmed from his refusal to take her back and warned her against creating more drama for clout. “Just because I said no doesn’t mean you should start chaos,” he wrote. “If you do, remember, I don’t back down from fights.”
In his message, he also took a jab at Ruth’s lifestyle choices, mocking her for allegedly associating with politicians and Nairobi’s “business community.” He urged her to get advice from other baby mamas about how to navigate life in the city and reminded her that real life isn’t like a movie.
The comedian also brought up a past gesture he made—funding Ruth’s dental work—and asked her to return the dental fixtures, a jab that left many online stunned. “Give me back my teeth while you’re at it,” he said mockingly.
As the drama continues to unfold online, many social media users have weighed in. Some have labeled Mulamwah’s behavior as immature, with several urging him to move on from the relationship and handle matters privately. Others saw the situation as karma catching up, with comparisons made to his previous breakup with Carol Sonnie.
In a twist, Mulamwah also recently issued an apology to Carol Sonnie, his former partner before Ruth. He implied that Ruth had played a role in the breakdown of that earlier relationship as well.
While both Ruth and Mulamwah have continued trading blows online, the situation appears far from over. Many fans are now calling on the two to prioritize the well-being of their child and find a mature way to settle their differences.
