Kenyan comedian Mulamwah appears to be turning a new page after a dramatic and highly public breakup with content creator Ruth K. Just days after the two exchanged bitter accusations and exposed each other’s private content online, Mulamwah shared photos of himself enjoying a romantic evening out with a new female companion.
The photos showed the comedian on a night out with a beautiful woman, whose face he deliberately kept hidden from the camera. According to him, the lady—identified only as a Russian friend named Svetlana—was the one who initiated the meeting. During their date, the two reportedly discussed his recent online altercation, and Mulamwah admitted he walked away with a different perspective on life and relationships.
Reflecting on the events, Mulamwah stated that men often go through difficult times, but what truly defines them is how they recover. He acknowledged the mistakes made during his public spat with Ruth and admitted that fighting wasn’t the best way to handle things. “A fight isn’t the way to go,” he noted, adding that “you are still a rat if you win a rat race.”
In his message, Mulamwah revealed that he and Ruth had since forgiven each other and were ready to move on from the toxic episode. He expressed remorse for allowing ego to take over and said he was now focused on better days ahead. He also requested support and prayers from his fans as he embarks on a fresh chapter in his life.
As part of his journey forward, Mulamwah announced the launch of a new project titled “1 POD,” a podcast set to debut soon on his channel. He described it as an opportunity to show a different side of himself and promised fans a more grounded and reflective version of Mulamwah going forward.
In his post, the comedian also issued a heartfelt apology to Ruth and everyone he may have hurt during the chaotic breakup. He acknowledged that things spiraled out of control and took responsibility for his part in the situation. “I’m deeply sorry we let our egos win,” he wrote, before emphasizing the importance of growth and healing.
Surprisingly, he also declared a break from romantic relationships, stating that he was done with women for the time being. “From today, I’m done with women—TAWE!” he wrote, using a Kiswahili expression to reinforce his point. He said it was time to kick off phase two of his life, a phase that would focus more on self-discovery and personal development.
The fallout between Mulamwah and Ruth K had earlier shocked fans, with each of them releasing private photos and accusations against the other. Mulamwah had suggested that Ruth abandoned him after gaining fame, while Ruth accused him of threats and manipulative behavior, including reversing a KSh 5,000 transaction he had initially sent her.
Now, Mulamwah appears ready to put the chaos behind him. Whether his resolution to avoid romantic entanglements will last is yet to be seen, but for now, he’s focused on healing, rebuilding, and introducing fans to a new version of himself.
