Kenya’s favorite comedy couple, Njugush (Timothy Kimani) and Celestine Ndinda, popularly known as Wakavinye, have officially confirmed the return of their iconic comedy show Through Thick and Thin (TTNT). The sixth edition, TTNT 6, is scheduled for August 1, 2026, at the Sarit Centre Expo Hall in Nairobi, promising fans another evening filled with laughter, authenticity, and clever storytelling.
A Legacy of Kenyan Humor
Since its debut, TTNT has evolved into one of Kenya’s most successful homegrown comedy series. The show’s strength lies in its relatability — highlighting everyday Kenyan experiences through humor about relationships, parenting, and social life. Njugush and Wakavinye’s chemistry and authentic delivery have helped the show connect deeply with audiences both locally and abroad.
Previous editions have seen TTNT grow into an international brand, with tours in London, Australia, and Dubai, allowing the duo to share Kenyan humor with the diaspora community.
Reflecting Growth and Everyday Life
The fifth edition, TTNT 5 (2024), sold out across multiple cities and was widely praised for its take on current issues like inflation and family life. Njugush’s hilarious skits about daily struggles and Wakavinye’s witty parenting sketches resonated strongly with audiences.
Announcing TTNT 6, Njugush said,
“This show has always been about telling our story and the Kenyan story in the funniest, most relatable way possible. Every edition has been bigger and better, and TTNT 6 will be no different.”
Wakavinye added,
“Our fans have walked with us through different stages of life, so TTNT 6 is going to feel like a reunion with family.”
What Fans Can Expect in TTNT 6
According to the duo, the 2026 edition will feature new sketches, improved production quality, and fresh perspectives inspired by their evolving lives as parents, partners, and creators.
Fans can expect a mix of humor, satire, and heartfelt moments that reflect Kenya’s social realities — all delivered with the couple’s signature warmth and wit.

Following the announcement, excitement flooded social media, with fans eager to secure early tickets for the highly anticipated event. TTNT 6 promises not only to continue the legacy of the franchise but also to push the boundaries of Kenyan comedy through creative storytelling and cultural insight.
