Pastor James Ng’ang’a has unveiled ambitious plans to construct a prayer centre in Mbeere, Embu County, alongside a small town, aiming to combine spiritual outreach with community development.
A Vision for the Community
In a video shared online, the preacher showcased his expansive plot of land, explaining that the project will include roads, electricity, and facilities for residents to watch sermons and football. “We are deep in Mbeere, and you can see my land. That is where we will build a prayer centre. We will build a town and bring electricity. We will also bring roads. We will set up a town here with TV so people can watch the preachings and football,” he said.
Mixed Reactions Online
Social media users responded with a mix of admiration and humor. While some praised the initiative for fostering local development, others speculated on potential financial benefits. Comments ranged from calling the project “incredible” to jokingly likening it to political promises.
