Kenyan socialite and entrepreneur Vera Sidika has come out swinging against critics accusing her of flaunting counterfeit designer wear and hiring a luxury car for clout. In a fiery Instagram story, Sidika dismissed the claims as baseless, offering a $2,000 (approximately KSh 260,000) reward to anyone who can prove she wears fake designer items.
“I DON’T buy fake designers. Y’all already know that. Remind that B**** pls. I would rather wear Zara till I die,” she stated bluntly. The outspoken influencer added that she frequently shares her designer shopping sprees online, documenting visits to high-end stores such as Gucci and Chanel, where she spends thousands of dollars on authentic luxury goods.
Sidika’s clapback comes in the wake of a wave of online gossip alleging that her new luxury vehicle is not owned but hired, and that she is facing financial struggles. Addressing the car hire rumours with sarcasm and mathematics, she broke down the costs:
“Car is hired. It’s now 12 days; 80k*12 = KSh. 960,000 spent on car hire so far.”
She questioned the logic behind the accusations, especially one bizarre claim that a TikTok video featuring her dancing with a Chinese girl is “proof” she purchases counterfeit items.
Far from appearing shaken, Vera used the opportunity to assert her focus on business. She revealed she had just returned from a sourcing trip to China to prepare for a new entrepreneurial venture, highlighting her ongoing commitment to growing her brand and business empire.

“Don’t be a bitter b****… Business trip to China to source for suppliers’ products for a business venture,” she wrote.
In classic Vera Sidika fashion, she ended her post with flair and a parting shot at her critics:
“Guess what; I’m just getting started. Please stock up the pressure pills and buckle up baby!!! It’s gonna be a wild ride.”
With her unapologetic tone and calculated rebuttals, Sidika continues to prove she’s unfazed by rumours and ready to cash in while shutting down the noise.
