Friday night kicked off at the Masshouse, Ngong Racecourse, with Matata’s Mpishi EP Tour. The evening opened with electrifying sets from DJ Regan and hype man Guddahman, followed by a captivating dance showcase from Art in Motion. The crowd roared for performances by Boutross and music duo Watendawili, whose unique sounds kept energy levels soaring. DJ Sir M set the perfect stage for Matata’s headline act, joined by Bien for their hit track Mpishi. Mejja, the Unit Band, and comedian DJ Shiti also graced the stage, making the night a memorable celebration of Kenyan talent.
Gordon’s High Tea – The ‘Par-Tea’ Experience
On Saturday afternoon, the Holiday Inn Nairobi Two Rivers transformed into a chic oasis for the second edition of Gordon’s High Tea. Guests, dressed in soft winter hues, enjoyed Gordon’s gin cocktails infused with delicate tea blends, paired with sweet and savoury treats. “The High Tea experience is our way of showing the versatility of Gordon’s it’s not just a gin, it’s a lifestyle,” said Wangeci Gakenia, Brand Manager at EABL. Entertainment came courtesy of Anto Neosoul, the Revolution Band, and a lively DJ set, adding a soulful soundtrack to the stylish gathering.

The weekend concluded with the Luo Festival, a vibrant cultural showcase that drew crowds eager to celebrate Luo music, dance, cuisine, and fashion. Renowned Luo artists headlined the event, delivering performances that blended traditional rhythms with modern beats. Attendees were treated to authentic Luo dishes and fashion displays featuring the community’s signature bold prints and beadwork.
