Yvonne Mugure has publicly denied claims that she assaulted a woman named Angela in a confrontation allegedly sparked by relationship drama involving Mugure’s fiancé, DJ Rigz. The accusations arose after Angela shared her version of events through social media, stating that she had previously been involved with the DJ and was surprised to find herself in an uncomfortable situation involving both him and Mugure.
According to Angela, she had been romantically involved with DJ Rigz and believed he was struggling to move on. She claimed to be unaware of DJ Rigz’s planned traditional wedding with Mugure when they reconnected. Angela also stated that the DJ had contacted her in distress, asking for money, prompting her to rush to Kiambu, fearing he was in trouble. Upon arrival, she found him drinking with friends and joined them, unaware that the gathering would escalate into a confrontation.
Angela alleged that later that evening, DJ Rigz invited another woman over, whom she initially assumed was a friend. It turned out that this woman, Yvonne Mugure, was his fiancée.
