Tanzanian songstress Zuchu has issued a public warning to individuals making incessant late-night phone calls to her husband, renowned Bongo Flava star Diamond Platnumz. Taking to her Instagram stories, the singer did not hold back her frustrations, making it clear that such behavior is not only inappropriate but also disrespectful.
“I just don’t understand why someone would call a married man usiku wa manane like very late in the night, don’t you know he has a wife?” Zuchu questioned. The visibly agitated singer followed up her post with a more direct jab, targeting a specific group. “If you know your name starts with A, I see your calls. Stop calling my husband,” she warned.
Her bold statements come weeks after reports emerged that Zuchu and Diamond Platnumz had formalized their relationship in a private Islamic wedding ceremony held in Dar es Salaam in late May 2025. The event, reportedly attended by close family and friends, saw the couple donning elegant white traditional Muslim attire.
While fans have long speculated about their relationship status, it was Zuchu’s affectionate references to Diamond as “my husband” in a video and the addition of “Mrs Naseeb” to her Instagram bio that confirmed the union for many. Their love story, though often in the public eye, appears to have taken a more serious turn.

Diamond, for his part, has opened up about the decision to keep the wedding private. Speaking during a concert in the UK, he emphasized the importance of maintaining focus on his music rather than his personal life. “I didn’t want people to lose focus from my music and start focusing on my relationship,” he explained. He also acknowledged that while a traditional ceremony had happened “back in the day,” it was not official, and he chose silence out of maturity.
Zuchu’s recent posts indicate a shift in tone protective and assertive as she steps into her role as a wife in the public eye, clearly unwilling to tolerate any interference in her marriage
