The Office of the Auditor General (OAG) has announced the recruitment of more than 190 staff members across various departments, offering opportunities for qualified Kenyans to join the independent oversight institution.
Among the senior positions advertised are two openings for Deputy Auditor Generals and Principal Internal Auditors, as well as one position each for Principal Legal Officer and Principal Communications Officer. The agency is also seeking four Senior Internal Auditors to strengthen its audit capacity.
In addition, the OAG plans to hire 150 Audit Associate II officers, six Financial Officers II, three ICT Officers II (Security), one Communications Officer II, 15 drivers, and 10 Office Assistants.
Application Guidelines
Interested and qualified candidates are advised to visit the official OAG website to access detailed job descriptions and the application procedures. Applications must be submitted via email only, as physical or hard-copy submissions will not be accepted.

The OAG emphasized that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. Those who make it to the shortlist must provide clearance certificates from relevant authorities as part of the vetting process.
Strict Warning Against Fraud
The Auditor General’s office has cautioned applicants against submitting false information or forged documents during the recruitment process.
“It is a criminal offence to provide false information and/or fake documents in job applications. The Office shall take appropriate action on any applicant who shall be found to have presented false information and/or fake documents,” the OAG warned.
Furthermore, the office stressed that canvassing of any kind will lead to automatic disqualification.
