Global communications powerhouse HAVAS Africa has announced the rebranding of its Kenyan operations from HAVAS PR to HAVAS Red Kenya, in a strategic move aimed at strengthening its footprint in East Africa’s dynamic communications industry.
The rebrand aligns the Nairobi-based team with HAVAS Red, the award-winning global micro-network within the HAVAS group that specializes in PR, social, and influencer marketing. This marks a significant milestone in the agency’s long-term growth strategy and reflects a renewed commitment to offering locally driven, globally connected communications across the region.

The Nairobi office will now be led by Phyllis Kinyanjui, who has been appointed Managing Director of HAVAS Red Kenya. Kinyanjui brings a wealth of experience in strategic communications and public affairs, with a strong emphasis on cultural relevance, community engagement, and purposeful storytelling.

The rebrand follows HAVAS Red’s recent expansion into South Africa in 2023 and Côte d’Ivoire in April 2024, bringing the network’s global footprint to 21 markets, including Australia, China, France, Germany, the UK, and the US.
