The Kenya Pipeline Company (KPC) joined industry partners in marking the 2025 Customer Service Week with pomp and appreciation, celebrating excellence in service delivery and partnership across Kenya’s petroleum sector.
The event, held at the TotalEnergies 4th Ngong Avenue Station in Nairobi, brought together major oil marketers, stakeholders, and KPC officials in a colorful ceremony aimed at recognizing top performers in fuel throughput for the 2024/2025 financial year.
KPC Managing Director Joe Sang led the company’s delegation during the celebrations, commending the oil marketing companies for their continued collaboration and dedication to ensuring efficiency, reliability, and sustainability in fuel distribution across the country.
“Customer Service Week is an opportunity to appreciate our partners who make it possible for us to deliver petroleum products safely and efficiently to every corner of Kenya,” said Mr. Sang. “Their commitment strengthens the national supply chain and supports Kenya’s economic growth.”
During the ceremony, TotalEnergies Kenya received recognition as the second highest throughputter in the 2024/2025 financial year, commanding 13 percent of the 9.8 million cubic meters transported through KPC’s pipeline network.
Vivo Energy Kenya emerged as the highest global throughputter, recording 1.653,866 million cubic meters, which represents 17 percent of the total throughput performance.
The recognition event underscored KPC’s focus on customer-centric partnerships and operational excellence within the oil and gas sector. The company continues to play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless transportation of petroleum products, a vital component of Kenya’s energy security and economic stability.
As the celebrations concluded, KPC reaffirmed its commitment to fostering strong partnerships and enhancing customer experience key pillars that drive its mission to deliver safe, reliable, and efficient petroleum transport services nationwide.
