Kenya Power and Lighting Company (KPLC) has announced scheduled power outages in three counties Uasin Gishu, Laikipia, and Kilifi on Wednesday, April 30. In Uasin Gishu County, the power supply will be disrupted between 9:00 am and 1:00 pm in Eldoret Quarry and its surrounding areas. Additionally, a separate outage from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm will affect other parts of the county, including Racecourse Hospital, Unity Homes, Kapseret Centre, Cibien Quarry, and St. George’s Chepkatet. Kenya Power indicated that these areas are undergoing scheduled upgrades and system optimization processes.

Notably, flower farms like Timaflor, Kisima Flowers, Uhuru Flowers, and AAA Growers are also listed among those to be affected.
