The Social Health Authority (SHA) has announced more than 500 new job opportunities. The positions are permanent and pensionable. Applications close on October 2, 2025.
SHA is a state corporation created under the Social Health Insurance Act, 2023. Its role is to provide financial protection for Kenyans by enabling fair access to healthcare.
Entry-Level Jobs
Some vacancies require only a KCSE Grade D.
- Senior Driver (3 posts): Applicants need a BCE driving licence, defensive driving certificate, first aid training, and at least nine years of driving experience.
- Senior Office Assistant (1 post): Candidates must have nine years of service, computer skills, and experience handling mail, errands, and general office work.
Senior-Level Jobs
The largest number of positions are in county and Huduma Centre operations. They include:
- 47 Principal Registration and Compliance/Claims Management Officers
- 183 Senior Registration and Compliance/Claims Management Officers
- 99 Senior Registration and Compliance Officers
- 96 Senior Claims Management Officers
Other posts are in finance, ICT, human resources, legal, customer service, planning, supply chain management, and internal audit.
Application Guidelines
Applicants must meet the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution. This means clearance certificates from:
- DCI
- KRA
- HELB
- EACC
- A Credit Reference Bureau (CRB)
Every application should include a cover letter, CV, academic and professional certificates, and contacts of three referees.
