In a series of official gazette notices published on November 14, 2025, several key appointments were announced across government ministries, agencies, and county offices.
Education CS Ogamba appointed Mohamed Sheikh Gabow as the Non-Executive Chairperson of the Kenya Education Management Institute (KEMI). Gabow’s three-year term, effective from November 14, 2025, aims to strengthen leadership and governance at the institute, ensuring it meets its mandate effectively.
Meanwhile, Co-operatives CS Oparanya appointed Lucy Sophina Loronyokie and Caroline Karanja to the board of the Micro and Small Enterprises Authority (MSEA). Their three-year terms, also effective from November 14, 2025, are intended to provide strategic guidance and oversight for the authority.
In the Gender Ministry, CS Cheptumo named Beatrice Jepkoech Changwony as a member of the Kenya National Library Service Board. Her appointment supports ongoing efforts to expand library services across the country.
Attorney General Dorcas Oduor made key appointments to the Nairobi Centre for International Arbitration, naming Ellias Billy Nyonje, Simon Malonza, Rina Chatrath, and Nancy Manyara as board members, with their terms commencing on November 14, 2025.
At the county level, Trans Nzoia Governor George Natembeya appointed Tulienge Anne Nangila as Chairperson and Andrew Wekesa Wepukhulu as Secretary of the county audit committee.
