Deputy President Kithure Kindiki has declared that the Kenya Kwanza administration’s development record is unmatched, saying the government is fully committed to transforming every part of the country without discrimination.
Speaking on Saturday at Enooseiya in Narok East during a resource mobilization event for 23 churches, Kindiki said President William Ruto’s government is working tirelessly to ensure equitable development for all Kenyans, regardless of political affiliation or ethnic background.
“We are doing a lot to develop every part of the country. The President is working hard to ensure every region is developed. No part will be left behind because of how they voted or where they come from,” Kindiki said.
He emphasized that the opposition would struggle to convince Kenyans to support them in future elections, citing the Kenya Kwanza administration’s visible progress in infrastructure, electricity, and economic empowerment programs.
“When the time comes, all of us will face wananchi and explain what we did to improve their lives when we were in office. Some have held senior positions but have nothing to show. The President and I will fully account for what we have done,” he said.
In Narok County, Kindiki highlighted several ongoing government projects, including the completion of the Ngong–Suswa Road, construction of the Nairragie Enkare–Suswa Roads, and the establishment of fresh produce markets. Out of 17 markets under construction, Suswa and Ntulele are already complete and awaiting official commissioning.
The Deputy President also announced that the government has allocated Sh2.4 billion for last-mile electricity connections in Narok, including Sh213 million for Narok East Constituency. He further mentioned the fast-tracking of the Narok International Airport project and the development of a leather tannery factory to boost local economic growth.
Kindiki urged residents to shun division and embrace peace, noting that unity and peaceful coexistence are vital for Kenya’s prosperity.
“We must live in peace and compete on ideas and policies, not resort to violence or incitement,” he said.
Also present were National Assembly Majority Leader Kimani Ichung’wah, Majority Whip Silvanus Osoro, and area MPs Ken Aramat and Gabriel Tongoyo.
