The National Police Service Commission (NPSC) has announced changes to its upcoming recruitment exercise, adding new venues and correcting previously advertised centres in 10 counties. The updates, released on Tuesday, September 30, follow the initial notices published on September 19 and 20 in two national dailies.
According to the commission, while recruitment dates remain unchanged, several centres that were initially omitted have now been included, while others have shifted to new locations.
Updated Recruitment Centres
Among the key changes, Kitui County will now host recruitment on October 7 at Nuu TVET Grounds and October 8 at Mathuki DCC’s Grounds. Wajir County will hold its exercise at Sabuli on October 7, while Tana River candidates will report to Kokane Grounds on the same day.
Other notable venues include:
- Alliance High School, Kiambu (October 7)
- Mwihoko Police Station Grounds, Kiambu (October 8)
- Karisa Maitha Stadium, Kilifi North (October 3 – corrected venue)
- Sirisia Sports Grounds, Bungoma (October 6 – corrected venue)
- Humama Grounds, Embakasi Central, Nairobi (October 3 – corrected venue)
- Dandora Stadium, Embakasi North, Nairobi (October 3 – corrected venue)
The commission also listed additional centres in Homa Bay, Kwale, Uasin Gishu, Tharaka Nithi, and Meru counties, with dates ranging between October 3 and October 9.
Applicant Requirements
The NPSC reminded applicants that they must be Kenyan citizens aged between 18 and 28 years with a minimum KCSE mean grade of D+, including at least a D+ in English or Kiswahili. Eligible National Youth Service (NYS) graduates may also apply but must present themselves at their designated county centres.
Applicants must carry original and copies of their academic certificates, testimonials, National ID, birth certificate, and NYS discharge certificate (where applicable).
