South Mugirango MP Silvanus Osoro has issued a stern warning to former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, urging him to show respect to Deputy President Kithure Kindiki, whom he described as “better in every aspect.”
Speaking during a public function in Tharaka Nithi County on Saturday, October 11, 2025, Osoro said Gachagua must learn to honour leaders who deliver results and uphold decorum. He openly dismissed Gachagua’s political bravado, saying that Kindiki’s track record, intellect, and professionalism set him apart.
“You, Wamunyoro, must respect Kindiki. There is nothing you can defeat Kindiki in,” Osoro declared, drawing cheers from the crowd. “You cannot beat him in studies, in dressing, in looks, or in work. He is not your peer.”
Osoro lauded Kindiki’s consistency and commitment, describing him as a results-oriented leader who has earned the trust of Kenyans through action rather than rhetoric. He noted that Kindiki’s leadership style, marked by humility and delivery, has elevated his standing both within government and among the public.
“The 2027 elections are already set, but we are looking beyond that to 2032,” Osoro said. “Leadership is about results and service, not personal attacks. Respect those who deliver and focus on building a future for all Kenyans.”
He further cautioned Gachagua against spreading insults, stating that the Deputy President’s work speaks for itself. “If you want to insult him, come here and do it face-to-face,” he warned. “Stop hiding behind rallies and bringing insults to the public.”
Osoro’s remarks come amid growing political tension between factions in the Kenya Kwanza alliance, with Kindiki emerging as one of the most visible and active members of President William Ruto’s administration.
