Prime Cabinet Secretary and Foreign Affairs Minister Musalia Mudavadi has reaffirmed his strong support for President William Ruto, emphasizing that the Head of State is guided not by populism but by a commitment to securing Kenya’s long-term future. Speaking in defense of the President’s governance style, Mudavadi hailed Ruto as a visionary leader unafraid of making difficult decisions for the country’s transformation.
“I know President William Ruto in ways most of you never will,” Mudavadi remarked. “We’ve sat face-to-face, time and again, to chart this country’s future.” He said his close working relationship with the President has given him confidence in Ruto’s intentions, describing him as courageous and focused on a legacy rather than applause.
According to Mudavadi, many of Ruto’s policies may appear unpopular now, but they are part of a carefully crafted blueprint designed to secure sustainable development for generations to come. He stated that real change requires bold leadership the kind that does not shy away from tough choices.
“He doesn’t flinch from tough decisions because he’s driven by a bold, unwavering vision for Kenya’s long-term greatness,” Mudavadi said. “President William Ruto doesn’t tremble in the face of pressure. His hard decisions aren’t made for applause; they’re made for generations to come.”
Mudavadi urged Kenyans to give the President time to deliver on his promises, saying that meaningful development does not happen overnight. He emphasized that easy decisions may be politically convenient but rarely deliver lasting change.
The Prime CS also called on citizens to support the President’s vision and understand that transformative leadership often demands patience and sacrifice. “What I saw in him is a man on fire for his country,” he added.
Mudavadi, a seasoned politician with decades of experience, maintained that Ruto’s leadership is anchored in clarity of purpose and long-term thinking. He insisted that when the dust settles, Kenyans will appreciate the bold direction the President is taking the nation.
