The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) has launched an intensive probe into the fatal shooting of lawyer Kyalo Mbobu, who was killed in a drive-by attack along Magadi Road in Nairobi. The incident, which occurred on the evening of September 9 around 7:30 pm, has shocked the legal fraternity and sparked concerns over rising insecurity.
According to eyewitness accounts, Mbobu was caught in traffic when unknown assailants approached and opened fire before escaping on a motorcycle. The brazen nature of the attack has raised questions about whether the lawyer was deliberately targeted.
