In a shocking domestic incident, a 31-year-old woman, Annastacia Wanza, was found dead in her home in the Masinga area. In a separate incident in Kavalya village, Kangundo, a livestock dealer, Nickson Muema, 34, was brutally attacked in his home during a robbery. A gang of about ten individuals reportedly broke into his house through a bedroom window and demanded cash. During the assault, Muema was struck on the head with a blunt object and later pronounced dead upon arrival at a local hospital. Adding to the violence, in the Kasinga area, a man and woman were arrested for allegedly torturing another man using a chisel and hammer in what authorities describe as a love triangle dispute.
