A man livestreaming outside Andrew Tate’s Romanian home caused panic after carrying an airsoft gun, prompting police involvement. The stunt, reportedly part of a 24-hour challenge, drew immediate attention from the Tate family and security team.
Andrew and Tristan Tate reported that the man “brandished the gun, waved it at the camera, and paced outside the property before trying to approach the residence.” They said the incident “created panic among viewers and posed a direct threat to everyone on site.”
Their security team acted quickly, restraining the intruder while waiting for law enforcement to arrive. The family described the response as “swift and controlled.”
In an interview with local media, the suspect defended his actions, claiming it was a promotional stunt for a cryptocurrency. “We were filming a challenge that involved staying 24 hours in front of the house. We didn’t do anything wrong. The street is public. We didn’t make noise, we didn’t do anything,” he said.
Andrew Tate criticized the man’s actions, calling him an “idiot” and stressing the risks involved. “It was impossible for our security team to know if it was an airsoft or a real gun when someone shows up here, starts shouting threats, and waving a weapon. It could very easily have been a real gun,” he said.
Police questioned the man and confiscated the airsoft gun. He was not arrested.
Andrew Tate, who has faced multiple criminal and civil charges alongside his brother Tristan, continues to attract attention online. The incident underscores both the security challenges surrounding the high-profile brothers and the potential dangers of viral online stunts.
