Police in Nakuru County have launched investigations into the brutal killing of an elderly couple who were found dead inside their home in Salgaa. The shocking incident has left residents of Muthiga village in Matuiku area gripped with fear as detectives seek to unravel the mystery behind the gruesome murders.
According to preliminary investigations, the couple, identified as 90-year-old Joseph Kihiti Ndegwa and his 63-year-old wife, Betrosa Wanjiku Githuri, were discovered dead on Sunday afternoon. Neighbours who went to check on them after noticing unusual silence at the homestead found their bodies lying inside the house with multiple injuries.
Police believe the two may have been attacked and killed on Saturday night by unknown assailants.
