If they beat Shabana FC in their penultimate match on June 14, they will move to 64 points, making it impossible for Gor Mahia to catch up, as even three consecutive wins would only take K’Ogalo to 63 points.

It’s a scenario that relies heavily on Kenya Police faltering under pressure and Gor Mahia rising to the occasion in each of their remaining fixtures. While it’s a tall order, stranger things have happened in football.
Much will depend on the mental toughness and tactical discipline of both sides. Gor Mahia must maintain focus and take it one game at a time, starting with Ulinzi Stars.
