Huawei has officially launched its latest smart wearables the HUAWEI WATCH FIT 4 and Band 10 in Kenya, following their global debut in May. The launch underscores the tech giant’s commitment to Kenya’s rapidly growing digital wellness and technology landscape.
Speaking at the launch, Jin Renbin, Device Manager, Huawei Kenya, highlighted the significance of this rollout: “Kenya is a rapidly growing hub for digital wellness, and we’re proud to bring global innovations like the WATCH FIT 4 and Band 10 to this market.”
The HUAWEI WATCH FIT 4 blends bold aesthetics with practical innovation. Weighing just 27 grams, it features a 400mAh battery that delivers up to 10 days of use on a single charge. Its slim, rectangular design is both stylish and functional, appealing to fitness enthusiasts and trend-conscious users alike.
The ultra-lightweight Band 10, at only 15 grams, offers up to 14 days of battery life. Ideal for students and first-time fitness users, it features rapid charging just five minutes of charging delivers two days of usage. Both wearables support advanced health tracking, including heart rate monitoring, SpO₂ tracking, sleep insights, and 24/7 HRV (Heart Rate Variability) analysis.
Huawei Kenya’s Policy and Partnerships Manager, Adam Lane, emphasized the integration of AI in health tracking: “This not only gives users real-time insights but also supports a more proactive approach to wellness, including emotional and cardiovascular health.”
The WATCH FIT 4 also supports professional-grade fitness features such as dual-band GNSS tracking, offline topographic maps, barometric elevation, and watersports tracking, including freediving up to 40 meters.
Huawei has tailored its devices to local needs with workout modes for running, walking, and cycling outdoors. It is also collaborating with health tech startups and universities to integrate regional data into wellness research.
The wearables are available at discounted prices KES 19,999 for the WATCH FIT 4 and from KES 6,999 for the Band 10 through Huawei retail partners. Huawei is also offering installment plans and bundles in collaboration with local telcos.
