Israel Launches MAGA Influencer Tour to Shape Public Opinion
Israel has announced plans to host a group of young American right-wing influencers in an effort to rebuild and reinforce support for its policies among conservative circles in the United States. The initiative, which includes flying in 16 social media personalities aligned with the Make America Great Again (MAGA) and America First movements, is part of a broader strategy to address shifting attitudes toward Israel, particularly among younger generations.
Targeting the MAGA Base
All selected influencers are under the age of 30 and command large online audiences ranging from hundreds of thousands to several million followers. Their visit is part of a campaign designed to appeal to the new generation of conservatives who are increasingly influencing political discourse in the U.S.
While older conservative voters still largely support Israel, there has been a noticeable drop in favorable sentiment among younger Republicans. By engaging social media personalities already aligned with nationalist and pro-Trump ideologies, Israel hopes to reframe the narrative and secure continued backing from a key segment of American society.
Influencers as Modern-Day Ambassadors
Rather than relying on traditional diplomacy or official public relations efforts, the campaign hinges on the influencers’ personal content and credibility. These individuals are expected to post and share messaging that supports Israel’s stance on issues related to the ongoing conflict with Palestinians and broader regional policies.
Officials involved in the project have emphasized that influencer messaging often proves more persuasive than formal government statements. By partnering with voices already trusted by American conservatives, the strategy seeks to leverage digital engagement in a way that bypasses mainstream skepticism.
Strategic Partnerships and Faith-Based Messaging
The tour will be executed through a group known as Israel365, which markets itself as a Christian Zionist organization with a biblical view of the Israeli state. The group openly supports Israel’s claim to the entire land and rejects the notion of a two-state solution. It aligns strongly with pro-Trump sentiment and presents itself as a defender of Western values against what it labels threats from progressive ideologies and global extremism.
Israel365 has recently strengthened its connections to MAGA-aligned events, helping organize visits for high-profile conservative figures and deepening its reach within the movement.
Scaling the Campaign
This trip is one of many planned. Israeli officials intend to bring in as many as 550 influencer delegations before the year ends, using similar models. The ministry involved has allocated approximately $86,000 to this particular tour.
This move underscores a shift in Israel’s public diplomacy, where the battlefield for hearts and minds has moved from press conferences to social media feeds. As younger demographics shape the political future in both Israel and the U.S., the success of such influencer campaigns could become a critical tool in shaping long-term alliances.
