Saudia, the national carrier of Saudi Arabia, has officially unveiled its Alfursan international credit card in Egypt, marking a significant expansion of its loyalty program into a key regional market. This launch comes through a strategic collaboration with Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) – Egypt, in partnership with global payments giant Visa.
The Alfursan credit card is designed to offer exclusive benefits tailored specifically for the Egyptian market, allowing cardholders to earn miles on everyday purchases. These miles can be redeemed for flights, upgrades, and a wide range of lifestyle rewards.
Essam Akhonbay, Vice President of AlFursan Loyalty Program at Saudia, emphasized the airline’s commitment to enhancing customer experiences through strategic growth. “Our focus is to expand our footprint in banking and other sectors to offer benefits that improve our members’ travel opportunities,” he said.
The agreement, signed at the Arabian Travel Market 2025, will provide Alfursan members in Egypt access to a host of additional perks. These include rewards and services offered through Saudia’s global partners across sectors such as hospitality, automotive, car rentals, telecommunications, retail, and insurance.
