U.S. President Donald Trump has launched a new luxury fragrance line dubbed Trump Fragrances, with the standout scent “Victory 47-45” retailing at a staggering $249 (approximately Sh32,245). The high-end perfume line is the latest addition to Trump’s growing personal merchandise brand.
Unveiled on Trump’s social media platform, Truth Social, the former president described the perfume collection as a symbol of “Winning, Strength, and Success.” He encouraged his followers to grab a bottle for themselves and their loved ones, stating, “Trump Fragrances are here. They’re called ‘Victory 45-47’ because they’re all about Winning, Strength and Success – for men and women.”
The “Victory 47-45” fragrance name pays tribute to Trump’s political journey marking his tenure as the 45th president (2017–2021) and his current status as the 47th president after his return to the White House in 2024.
The perfumes are packaged in eye-catching gold-colored statuettes shaped like Trump in a business suit, with his signature boldly displayed at the base. They are exclusively available on the official website, getTrumpFragrances.com, and come in both male and female versions.
Other offerings in the Trump fragrance line include the $199 (Sh24,741) “Trump” scent, presented in a sleek glass bottle featuring an image of Trump with a clenched fist and the slogan “Fight, Fight, Fight.” The tagline is a nod to Trump surviving an assassination attempt during a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, in 2023.
Trump’s fragrance venture is part of a broader merchandising push managed through a partnership between 45Footwear LLC and CIC Ventures LLC. The companies have previously released Trump-branded sneakers, watches, and other high-end products that appeal to his loyal fanbase.
While some view the move as a clever branding strategy ahead of the 2024 election cycle, others have criticized the luxury pricing. Nonetheless, with some items like the earlier “Victory” cologne already sold out, Trump’s unique blend of politics and product marketing continues to find a ready audience.
