Israeli military operations have intensified across the occupied West Bank, with several towns and villages targeted in a new wave of raids and violence.
In the village of Tayasir, located to the east of Nablus, Israeli soldiers stormed a residential area and targeted a home. The reasons for the operation were not made public, but the raid caused heightened tension among residents, many of whom were forced to stay indoors as the situation unfolded.
Further north, in the town of Kafr Qaddum, east of Qalqilya, troops were seen deploying within a neighborhood. Though no arrests or injuries were reported during this particular incursion, the presence of heavily armed forces caused concern among local families, who have experienced repeated military incursions in recent months.
A separate military raid occurred in Beit Fajjar, a town located south of Bethlehem. The pattern of these operations, marked by sudden and aggressive entry into civilian areas, has drawn widespread fear and criticism from Palestinian residents who continue to bear the brunt of the military’s actions in the occupied territories.
In the southern city of Hebron, Israeli forces launched a dual raid in the towns of ad-Dhahiriya and Dura. During the operations, tear gas and sound grenades were used extensively, reportedly aimed at shops and homes. The forces withdrew shortly after, but not without leaving behind a trail of broken windows, lingering gas clouds, and shaken communities.
Simultaneously, violent actions by Israeli settlers were reported in the towns of Beita and Osarin, located south of Nablus. In these incidents, groups of settlers, reportedly accompanied by military personnel, carried out attacks on local infrastructure. Live ammunition and tear gas canisters were fired, escalating the danger for civilians in the area. These attacks, supported or shielded by military presence, have become increasingly common, especially in areas near Israeli settlements.
Amid the chaos, an ambulance operated by emergency responders was targeted. The vehicle, clearly marked and on duty to assist injured civilians, was damaged in the attack. Medical teams on the ground have frequently reported difficulties accessing areas during such military operations, often finding themselves blocked, delayed, or assaulted in the course of providing emergency aid.
The ongoing raids and settler attacks form part of a broader trend of escalating violence across the West Bank. As tensions continue to rise, communities are bracing for further unrest, with families caught in the crossfire and essential services like medical care being put at risk. With no clear end in sight, the situation remains volatile, and the repeated incursions into Palestinian towns and villages continue to strain daily life under occupation.
